Diff-MST: Differentiable Mixing Style Transfer

A differentiable mixing console and transformer controller that infer multitrack mixing style from a reference song, producing interpretable, controllable mixes with listening examples, a Cubase prototype, and a full write-up of the architecture and training methodology.

The Sound of One Hand CLAPping

An evolutionary search over VSTi synth parameters using CLAP audio-text embeddings as the fitness function, letting you steer a synth with text prompts, inspired by MIT Media Lab's CTAG. Built at the Timbre Tools 2024 Hackathon with Ben Hayes, Jordie, and Ash; I led the evolutionary algorithm component.
